Use Independent Contractors and Boost our Economy
Across the world, many people are having a hard time to put food on the table, and maintaining a job in order to support a family is not a simple task to perform. As such, many corporations and businesses are aiming to create more jobs by expanding their horizons towards new forms of service.
One very effective way for companies to pursue the creation of new jobs as well as lower costs is to higher independent contractors. An independent contractor is an employee that is a free-lancer, namely someone who works for himself yet performs services for a company and is paid by them.
This employee can save companies money because his salary is tax deductible. If a company were to hire multiple independent contractors, their salaries would all be tax deductible, which would all lead to major savings. The clear downside, however, to using independent contractors is that they are not bound to working for one company; they may work for whomever they choose.
This type of employment is often translated into modern day business process outsourcing. A company can invite a group of independent contractors to perform services for them. Take, for example, a company that hires Pitney Bowes for office services; Pitney Bowes will outsource directly from the company’s office.
Another such example would be Dell computers deciding to have an offshore business process outsourcing group taking customer service phone calls and the like. This kind of outsourcing is even more cost efficient because wages overseas are often much less than the US.
Companies often hire offshore business processing outsourcers because of this incredible fact of paying less for the equivalent services and capabilities. These outsources are absolutely capable of helping Americans understand their computer problems and fixing them from thousands of miles across many oceans.
With America supporting and offering jobs to other countries, the recession is at a standstill. Until they realize that outsourcing to Americans first is primary then the country cannot move on. Offshore outsourcing is necessary, but companies must first make sure that they employ American outsourcers as well.
Hopefully, with the newly more educated youth emerging within us with advanced knowledge, the country will be able to pick and change its financial troubles. We will see in years to come.
